I have been thinking aout this outfit way to much than is healthy. I already had the paper overalls and so a week ago I thought to myself "it'd be really cool to make myself a respirator as buying one is WAY too expensive"...

the biohazard bag came from a friend who works somewhere with..well.. biohazards lol.

here's my mask:

the whole respirator equipment was made with stuff I had in my house, all I had to buy was the crepe paper for covering the bottle!
2 x pepsi bottles (1 for the mask, 1 for the bottle)
2 x mcdonald's posh condiment pots from a chicken select meal (sweet chilli and bbq i believe)
heavy duty seam tape
pva glue
plastic insulating tape (red and black)
foam insulation on a roll
1 x biohazard bag
1 x length tubing

I'm pretty darn proud of everything except the fact that I'm going to have to put some actual air holes in the mask 'cos I keep inadvertantly creating a vacuum between the mask and my chubby cheeks lol!!

and using some of my fake blood (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=393738) I made my biohazard bag look really disgusting.

Love it! You did an amazing job!
Might I suggest, since I also work in an environment with the occassional biohazard, that you wear goggles?  Wouldn't want to get that s##t in your eyes either!!

Boycott haters.

Sweeet.  I need a similar suit to clean up my son's room...

If it had grown up, it would have made a dreadfully ugly child; but it makes rather a handsome pig, I think.
