So, this year for Halloween, my 8 yo daughter wanted to be Katy Perry. But, since we live in cold, wet Seattle, Katy's costumes were a no-go since they wouldn't be warm enough. Then she decided that she wanted to be a pop tart. Well, my brain went into over drive and thus ... the Katy Berry Pop Tart was born!!  Yes, her hair is purple, we used Special Effects dye in Deep Purple, loads of fleece and felt and viola!! I transformed her into a Pop tart flavored with California Gurlz Katy Perry.  Enjoy!

This is so creative!  I love that you took both her ideas and made them awesome together!

Thank you all so much! This was such a fun costume to make. I love the imagination my Mini Me has! She's already decided that she wants to be Oogy Boogy next year!
