Hi everyone!!! I made this costume for my son for this year because he loves munchkins. This is my second attempt at making a costume. Back in 2009 I made a spongebob for him. Well this one took me 4 weeks to create. My wife found a pic online of one that was made from an actual large munchkins box and styrofoam balls. I figured I could improve on it and make one that will hold up to the stress that a 4 y/o could put on it. I bought an embroidery machine and managed to teach myself the software in an afternoon to get started. It consist of the box, a hat, and a coffee cup basket. All of it is made from felt. I used a juggling ball pattern I found to make the munchkins. I'll post all the details in the costume section along with all the pics of it coming together. anyway...here he is tonight with it on going trick or treating. He loves it!

This was also my first time ever making a hat. No pattern just started cutting and figured it out along the way.

If you would like to see the progress through the build. Here's the link. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=393890.0
