Baby Shower Thank-You Cards

Hello everyone! I haven't posted in SOOOO long. Well I have a little guy on the way and my baby showers are quickly approaching. I spent my Saturday morning making about 35 of these little cuties:

I got the idea from Marthastewart.com who had a similar idea...BUT I'm out of ink and couldn't print the template for the diaper...so I made my own! So there Martha!

I traced this template onto 12x12 scrapbooking paper (2 templates for each 12x12), cut it out, folded it around a greeting card...and voila! The diapers are held together with the ribbon- no glue. Just 2 little slits punched in the front through all the layers.


So the recipient will slide the card out of the diaper and the message will be on the inside.
It was really super easy.....here's a pic of literally all the "tools" I needed to make these cards happen:

When I was putting together my sister's baby shower I struggled with making paper diapers for a game we were going to play. I finally gave up and bought some offbrand newborn ones at Wal-mart!  You seem to have succeeded at the paper ones though! Very very cute! I am bookmarking this in case I ever get wrangled into throwing another shower.
