Wow!  Pink shabby chic and kiki_eks!  Beautiful bags!  I just love the fabric choices on all of them.

I just got home from work and found the most beautiful package from ithkuno (sorry, not sure I spelled it correctly).
Besides the most AWESOME crafted tote ever, she sent me a caprisun bag, knitting needles (made by her), some sharped dowels, sand paper and wax so I can make them myself, a placemarker, something for my lips (lipbalm?) and.. oh... I think that's it! No wait, some hand made buttons!!!! (not pins, really buttons!).
WOW!
I'm soooo late with mine, I wanted to do something really special for her, since she was so nice and now.. well now I'm really scared she won't like mine..
I'll take pictures in the mornig so all of you can see and CRY because I got the best partner ever! (I know I always say this, but all of you girls are the best).

THANK YOUUUUUUU!!!!!!!

I got such a nice thank you from The Meow Wont Purr, so I don't think she'll mind if post a photo of the bag I made for her:

I used pink linen and lined it with brown and white gingham.  The image and stripes are craft paint.  I've always wanted to try the lined zippered pouch tutorial so made a little pouch for it too.

If the photo doesn't work, here's a permalink to my blog post:

I'm so glad that you posted a picture! My camera is on a fritz trip.  Sad
Bettsi made me the MOST BEAUTIFUL bag EVER. Like I told her, it is PERFECT for me!
She used my favorite color combo of pink and brown, and the size of the bag and the straps are great! I was so surprised by the reading lady, she's so cute.
She also made lots of different pockets to hide stuff away, even some pencil/crochet hook pockets! She included that amazingly cute zipper pouch and two MATCHING flower pins. Every time I see it (about twenty times an hour) I get so excited and happy because this is simply the most beautiful thing I've ever recieved. Bettsi has spoiled me completely.  Cheesy

Finally, the pics Smiley
Here's what I got from ithnkuno (except for the candy, I already ate it and the handmade buttons that I can't find!)

You can see that I already used a pair of needles Grin
