I see some Lion brand landscapes, maybe microspun, homespun, bernat boa.....it's so beautiful! I would wear that with pride. It looks like some expensive designer wrap. I love it.

that's really beautiful. very earthy lookin'. =) i did a shawl made of scraps a while back, i was aiming for an earthy/warm look, and instead it turned out a bit bright/crazy.

That isn't the pattern I used but one I intend to try next.  I think it will be a bit less shawl-like.  I used the scarp wrap pattern from Interweave knits and then once I got to the upper chest/shoulders area I began increasing four stitches per row instead of the two.  I also uses size 17 needles instead of the rec'd size 15s.
