Hello Crafster friends ! I have just painted a pair of white canvas shoes : some parts with black sharpies (permanent) and other parts with fabric markers (water based). Now I wonder how I can protect them from dust, stains and water...

I have purchased some Liquitex matte varnish (spray), but the guy told me he was not sure it would make it. What I would like to do is to "seal" the drawings so the colors don't leak... So maybe the varnish is not approriate, maybe what I need is a fixative, but I don't know... I do not dare to spray the varnish on the shoes in case it ruins my work...

I would greatly appreciate your advice and experience. I know I should have thought about this earlier, but I was really excited with the project  Smiley

Many thanks in advance!
