Blue wrap dress own pattern :-)

Hi all!

I bought me some dark blue stretch fabric to make me a jacket.
But I got inspired by "Project Catwalk" (the Dutch version of Project Runway) to create a dress.

I made the pattern all by myself, using my mannequin (googled that, so not sure it is right).

The dress is a wrap version, quite simple. I only used dark blue ribbon to make it more feminine (I think).

So here are the pictures:


(The blouse underneath, is a bought one, but tailored by me)

It is hard to see, but I added two darts on the back and a little split in the bottom part.

What a pretty dress!  I love both the color and the style. 
I would wear that to work - with a little cami and cardigan in the summer and with the blouse in the winter.

I'm not wearing to work a lot, I work with children and feel a bit overdressed when I do wear it to school!
But I still think it is pretty
