Ongoing Wish Swap Round 76 Open
«
on:
October 29, 2011 04:00:59 PM »
PLEASE READ WHOLE POST BEFORE ASKING TO JOIN OUR SWAP
When you PM the orgs you MUST have the name of the swap and when you ship and receive the claim name and date!!!
this is NOT an option a rule
!
I.E. Sally ----> Suzy for a pink pony saddle due out Jan 1
This must be in ALL of your messages to the org!!
WE HAVE A NEW RULE IN REGARDS TO SHIPPING PLEASE READ THIS AND MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND IT!!
for this swap a MED By SIZE it is 2 OR more craft hours ( this is not cooking time, drying time, etc.. waiting around for something to set up.......it is craft time for the average crafter)
MAKE SURE YOUR LIST IS 15 MED as there are too many Exlarge items asked for. It is a MED swap and we need to remember that..If you ask for to many mega items I will pm and ask you to remove them and or add a MIN of 15 true MED!!!You must have 15 crafted items AND 15 supply items (more the better chance of getting claimed quick)
Please bookmark all three threads, PM your partner ASAP to get the addy I dont want any messages I dont have and it is the deadline do you have it messages you have 2 weeks to have out the door and in that time can get the message to them and communicate!
1. Please make your wish list made and saved in your computer BEFORE you make any claims ( min of 15 med craft items and 15 supply items)
2. You must pm partner as soon as you claim to say hello and get addy there are too many that have not been doing so and waiting until send outs and becoming later for not doing this from now on this will be noted in feedback!
3. Bookmark all threads and communicate in them ( this is important!!
4. FOC we have a special thread for us to talk about whatever we want to and feel the need to share with each other. Great fun there so think of being a FOC and join us!
5. If you stall the thread more then 8 hours you must add more items!
6. PM BOTH org and co org when you send and receive with the claim and the send by date in the message!
7. Post pics within 5 days of receiving OR have the sender do so ( this will be noted in feedback if you do not!)
8. From the time you claim you have 14 days to have out the door. If your 14th day is a holiday or on a day your postal service is not open you must send the day before that!
9.This is a high quality swap! Please check for loose threads, excess glue, make sure this is your BEST work we don't need anymore PM's about quality and would have to have to PM that there is an issue. You must send what you claim for ( we understand things happen like machines break etc..then you must still send on time and something else from the list that your partner wants!!
10. read careful partners wish list and allergies, likes, dislikes etc this is very important
Organizers: BABALINA58 & LINDYV321
*IMPORTANT PM INFO*
When sending PMs, please label them as OWS 76 with one of the following tags:

This is a HIGH QUALITY swap and you understand this will be your best work and it is very important to talk to your partner to make sure you have their wishes and your best crafting in mind ?

IMPORTANT: Also, remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find other rules about participating in a swap.http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=6553.0 this is a great tip for being a great swapper and the link to all swap rules are there too
Please bookmark this thread post here. All updates will be made here and this will help you to keep up with everything also, please bookmark the discussion and the gallery threads!
IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE, REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR INFO TO THE ORGANIZERS VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE AND NOT TO REPLY WITH IT HERE. PLEASE MESSAGE BABALINA58 & Lindyv321
YOU MUST PUT IN THE SUBJECT in SUBJECT LINE referring to swap 76!!
How This Swap Works:
Please READ CAREFULLY! This swap works differently than most!
~~Try to imagine a chain. The first link is the first person whose wish list is on page 1 (Person A) - that will be the craftster member who was the very last wish list from Ongoing Wish Swap 74.
~~Now, we want to put another link in the chain. People will read that list and see if there is something they want to/can make from the list.
~~Someone (Person B) will claim Person A for some item on their wish list. They post a reply to the thread that says “I claim Person A for [item]. This is my X claim (however many times they have picked someone – for example, "this is my fourth wish, with one sent, and three received,” (meaning that this is the fourth claim they've made, one is in transit to it's destination, and three of the items have been received by the people they previously claimed). Also add your location, and any preferences or aversions – “I live in Wisconsin USA, I am a vegetarian, and I am allergic to wool”.
IT'S REALLY IMPORTANT THAT YOU REPLY WITH YOUR STATUS WHEN YOU CLAIM SOMEONE! This means you need to post who you are claiming and for what, how many claims you have made, including how many in transit and how many received, and your location/preferences/aversions. I.E. 4/1/1 = 4 claims-1 in transit-1 received by partner
Then comes the fun part! After the introduction, Person B is the last link in the chain, and they post their wish list!!! YOU CAN HAVE AS MANY ITEMS ON YOUR WISH LIST AS YOU WANT, HOWEVER
YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF FIFTEEN MED PER SECTION i.e. CRAFTS and SUPPLIES.
THE MORE ITEMS YOU LIST, THE BETTER YOUR CHANCES OF BEING CLAIMED QUICKLY.
(Please have your list ready, this swap moves very quickly! If not I will skip you and or remove your claim!! Please include your country at the start of your wish list). Person B will also PM Person A to get her address so they can mail the item when it is finished.
Along comes Person C, who claims Person B for something on their list and the chain is built, link by link. (If Person C wanted to make Person B a purse AND a stuffie, that would still count as ONE WISH.) Then they post their list, and so on.
When you want to make a claim, you can ONLY pick from the very last wish list in the chain. You can't pick anyone else in the chain - you can only connect to the very end of the chain, which is that last wish list posted.
After you have made your claim, you need to PM that person for their address with in 24 hours!! It is up to you to make sure you do this DO NOT PM THE ORGS FOR THIS INFO! You must get and keep safe until you ship!
Friends of Craftster are allowed UP TO 3 wishes at one time as per the orgs discretion, others are allowed 2 wishes again as per the org dis.. If this is your first swap, you are only allowed one wish at a time until your crafts are received for this month. HOWEVER the orgs reserve the right to tell you that you may only claim one or two items at a time if you have had issues in the past with shipping late or poor communication etc!!
Do not choose over your given limit.
If a dead stall in the thread the orgs can claim again to get this moving again as a last resort!
Become a Friend of Craftster! Go here:
http://www.craftster.org/subscribe.php
If you are at your limit of wishes, you can choose again once one of your partners receives AND you have confirmation they have,
NOT
when you send.
***Do not claim someone unless you can fulfill that wish to a high caliber***
NEW SHIPPING RULES~~ PLEASE READ AND MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND OR IT IS NOT CLEAR TO YOU PLEASE PM BABALINA58 ASAP!!
~~You must send Del. Comf with in the USA. NO exceptions!!
~~If sending overseas as it takes so long we are changing the rule for INTERNATIONAL packages ONLY as soon as you ship AND SEND A PHOTO COPY /PIC of the shipping receipt ( or the tracking number from the receipt) you can claim again ONLY AFTER I HAVE THIS RECEIPT HOWEVER!!! You can send it to me in a message OR if cant get in that way you can EMAIL IT TO :
CPYSGIRL@YAHOO.COM
DO not again think that you can claim again without me having this information for your shipping however! This ONLY applies for packages being sent overseas and to and from Canada, South America this does not apply to packages shipped in the USA you must wait until partner receives and send conformation of this to me!!!
~Unsure of where to find wish ideas? Try the previous ongoing wish swap galleries or any other gallery on craftster. Look through your fellow crafter’s wist lists, pintrests, ETSY etc
Sending/Communicating/Feedback:
YOU HAVE TWO WEEKS (14 days from the time you claim)TO GET YOUR ITEM OUT THE DOOR.This starts from the time you claim must be out the door BY the 14th day!
IF YOU DO NOT SEND A MEDIUM ITEM YOU CLAIMED FOR YOU WILL BE GETTING NEGATIVE FEEDBACK until you do send the proper package
( the medium can be a couple small items etc as long as it adds up to a medium and that is what you claimed for )
Feedback will be given as soon as you have sent - received -posted pics but will be up to 2 weeks after the swap closed if you do not post pics and this will be noted and you might not get allowed back in the next round if you cant do this! Please take pics before you ship! This is a rule not an option!!!
IF YOU CLAIM FOR A COTTON HAT, THEN DO NOT SEND A WOOL ONE OR YOU WILL HAVE TO SEND AGAIN! You may not email a pic as a claim you may however email patterns that you have purchased for someone off the list of items they wanted.
Pay close att. to your partners allergies and wishes IF you send something that is on the list of allergies, etc you WILL be required to send again! No argument on this we cant have anymore of the swappers PM that they got something that is clearly in their list of things they dislike and do not want and or have allergies of.....
Please be communicative if you are having any issues. If you communicate you still need to send your item in a timely manner. Communication does not mean you can send as late as you want. After one week past the deadline( on the 7th day) you can and or will have negative feedback. This is only temporary as it will be changed back once you fulfill your obligation for late item(s). Do not choose to craft an item if you do not think you can meet these deadlines
If the threads stall too long the orgs can claim to get it moving again
Previous Swap Rounds:
If you are confused in any way by how this works, please look at some previous rounds:
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT POSTING PHOTOS IS STILL A REQUIREMENT FOR THIS SWAP.
IF YOU CAN'T TAKE PHOTOS, PLEASE DO NOT JOIN THIS SWAP!!!.
FEEDBACK WILL NOT BE GIVEN UNTIL YOUR PACKAGES HAVE BEEN SENT AND YOU RECEIVE AND POST PICS OR 2 weeks AFTER the swap ends as per the rules[
/color]
BABALINA58 - Organizer, in charge of your claims, Thread update and approval feedback.
LINDYV321 -Co org as over 25 swappers we must have she will keep an eye on the gallery
THANK YOU LINDY FOR BEING SO WONDERFUL!
You must have your wish list saved in your computer before you make any claims as to not stall the thread

Last claim of the month of Oct is....... the one, the only , the amazing
jemimah
Hello, I’m Kirsten, I’m a full time student from New Zealand. I love art and I do a lot of drawing and printmaking.
Colours: particularly blue/green/teal/aqua, natural tones, or black and white; not so keen on pastels and pinks/purples (though dusty/dull shades can be nice).
Metals: silver, copper or antiqued finishes, rather than gold.
Styles: plainish and textured rather than very patterned. Natural linen, monochromatic prints rather than very multi-coloured. Some styles I particularly like are mid-century modern, Scandinavian, Japanese (but not kawaii).
Think artsy-fartsy rather than cutesy when crafting for me Smiley
No allergies. I prefer natural fibres, but not exclusively. I’m happy to chat, and easy to please. *** for things I particularly want (if that's helpful), but I will be delighted with anything on the list!
Thank you for picking me!!
CRAFTS
VARIOUS CRAFTY POSSIBILITIES
* wisty surprise -
http://wists.com/jemimah
My wist will give you a good picture of my tastes – “inspired by” rather than an exact replica is great, so feel free to get creative Smiley
* a Star Trek or Doctor Who thingy, whatever you like to make, my faves are Spock, tardis and daleks. (Useful rather than decorative is usually my preference, but any Spock, tardis, or dalek item that lands in my letterbox will find a home). Some ideas – Tardis journal, etui, needle book; daleks on anything; Spock stationery, journal. Great Spock pattern here
* pick another one of my fave things and make something in your favourite craft medium (again, great if it’s useful) e.g. fox, British robin, robot (more in profile info)
*** things to put other things in – box, organiser, project holder, etc. – always welcome
*** protective folder to store artwork in – A4 or A3 would be great
* cool/or fun/or vintage-y/or modern pendants or brooches, in any medium - metal, fabric, polyclay. (I love jewellery and have a silly amount of it already, so I may use these for other creative purposes, e.g. embellishing purses, books, home decor things - so a few fun bits and pieces would be better for me than something very precious Smiley)
SEWN
* a pockety project bag – I always have several projects on the go, so use these a lot, different styles and sizes all welcome (I love my Mimi project bag, and would happily receive another one Wink)
* Plain and sturdy zippered totebag/storage bag
* organiser things (e.g. project holder, thing for storing small supplies and bits) any size. Some ideas in wist, but other styles are good too.
* sewing ideas (if you want to make cushions/cushion covers, you can mail them unstuffed for easier postage)
* pot mitts/pot holders - something amusing, or one of my fave themes, or just simple. I quite like the long double ended style.
*** fabric buckets are great! I like them quite big (grocery bag size, or even bigger), but you don't need to put interfacing or padding/batting in them, so they can fold up flat for easy posting. They don't need to be fancy, plain and sturdy is fine. Short handles are useful, but not essential. NEW I also like small fabric buckets too, if that's easier for you to make or send.
* NEW paint brush/art tools roll or folder/holder thing
* NEW mug rug or set of coasters
YARN/FELT RELATED
* hand dyed or hand spun yarn
* handknitted wool socks (women’s size 9-10, any colour) (I know, this is a big one!)
* socks/slippers for wearing around the house –something simple to make, not fancy – maybe made of old felted jumpers or something? (women’s size 9-10) I am not fussy about the style, this is all about comfort. I will be working at home all year ...
* if you’re interested in knitting something, these are some things I want in my ravelry faves (I don’t necessarily want all the other things in my ravelry faves though Smiley) – ravelry wants – there are some smaller things like hats and mitts in there, and a couple of crochet things too. Some good colours for knits – dull denim blue, dull greyish rose, chartreuse, rich or dull red (not too orange-y or dark please), teal, charcoal, grey.
* fingerless mitts - I like ones with thumbs rather than just thumb slits, but other than that I'm pretty flexible on styles - there are heaps of different patterns I like in that ravelry link. I wear these every day in the winter.
* wisty things made of felt or felted wool
PAPER RELATED
* handmade stamps in a theme I like (see my profile and wists), e.g. birds, frogs, fish, trees, art related, Tardis, dalek, Star Trek
* stationery – notecards or paper, it’s all good (bonus points for Star Trek or Dr Who theme!)
* stationery ideas
OTHER CRAFTS
* handmade ceramic item, esp. in celadon green (but any colours are good) ceramic ideas
* hair sticks/comb/pin or shawl pin – not too girly please, see wist
* polyclay buttons - a variety of sizes/colours/textures would be great!
* or something else that I haven’t thought of, that you think I’d like!
CRAFT SUPPLIES (many of these things are VERY expensive here, more than 2x US prices)
* real silk for embroidery, any colours, any brand, any type – it’s hideously expensive where I live (it’s probably not that cheap where you live, but I bet it’s cheaper than here! a very small envelope will be cheap to post, and will make me very happy Smiley). I particularly love Soie d'Alger (made by Au Ver à Soie). If you send me some Soie d'Alger, I will also send you a tiny pretty made with it by way of extra thanks. Smiley
(A few OWSers have sent me silk now, and I <3 it all! Thank you!)
* interesting embroidery supplies (please stick with quality over quantity, I’d much rather have a tiny envelope with a few lovely skeins/little things than lots of cheap floss/beads, and it's also cheaper for postage!) The sort of stuff I like is DMC, anything silk or linen, Au Ver à Soie, Japanese stuff, bits for goldwork (purl, kid, etc.), handmade/hand dyed, quirky things. Vintage/second hand is fine. No Aida please.
*** I’d really like to try the DMC Naturals linen embroidery floss.
*** a q-snap frame or two – 11” x 17” and/or 11” x 11” would be great
*** nice sock yarn! Machine washable would be great, I keep felting my socks!
* Noro yarn, other silk/luxury yarn, artisan yarn (I have a great local source for good wool yarns, so while I love that too, it’s not worth you mailing it to me Smiley)
*** stainless steel yarn like this or this
* bamboo circs (I have quite a few sizes in metal and plastic, but no bamboo. Long cables best, but any welcome.)
* nice paper - e.g handmade, japanese, printmaking, textured, any colour or weight - it's for printmaking, so plain or subtle rather than very patterned is best.
* small art supplies items:-
- pencils, markers and pens (Prismacolor/Derwent/Caran D'Ache/Posca for example, or similar artist grade things – think quality rather than quantity, just a few nice things would be fab! and cheap to mail)
- peel and sketch charcoal pencils
- drypoint etching supplies (roulette, plastic for etching)
- inkpads, little stencils, stamps, etc.
*** 100% wool felt, eco felt <– I’ve never seen eco felt available here (I have stacks of ordinary synthetic felt already though)
*** DMC StitchBow floss holders - just the gold coloured sticks (I have plenty of the plastic pockets to put them in) – I always need these!
* small sewing supplies – rickrack, bias binding, cotton tape/ribbon, grosgrain
* blanks for pendants or brooches (not shiny gold, but any other colour fine e.g. silver, dark gold or silver, copper, etc.)
* I would particularly love some of this b&w cat fabric, this gorgeous fabric, or plain linen or wool fabric (natural, grey, green, blue). Also wool doctors flannel (for needlebooks, only need smallish pieces), if it’s easily available where you live.
* crafty magazines – Burda or Anna (either English or German), Vogue Knitting, Verena, or any awesome US sewing/knitting mag.
*** I'd love to get these knitting patterns - I particularly want Lalique, the cat socks, and the Jackson Pollock socks - (no postage costs to buy patterns online either!) Smiley
*** Jane Austen Knits
* some good pinking shears (for example)
EXTRAS
* yarn leftovers/oddments in any shades of blue or green, anything over about 1/4 ball (~16 metres or more) will be useful for my project. Wool or wool blends preferred please, any weight.
* I always enjoy bookmarks, vintage/interesting buttons, etc.
* small chipboard shapes
* no candy (I like it TOO much)
Smiley Smiley Thank you to everyone who has sent me lovely things!!! Some things are still on my list, because I love what you sent, and I am happy to receive similar things again.
NB. New Zealand has tough biosecurity at the border. This is very unlikely to apply to this swap, but just in case ... Please don’t send natural materials (feathers, leaves, wood, seeds e.g. lavender, etc.) Everything on my list is absolutely fine to send, but PM me if you’re unsure about something. Thanks Smiley

I have a few allergies in the house..My granddaughter lives with me as most know and she cant be around anything that people have smoked around. If your an outdoor smoker fine just PLEASE make sure you wash hands good before handling anything that will be shipped to us.

Yay! I'm claiming for the first time since...er, September?
Snagging SMLounsbury for
I am in desperate need of a tree of life pendant in March, July and August colors for my mother in law for Christmas.
Can do!
Claim #1 this round.
About Me
34 year old woman who lives in Florida (USA) with my guy and two cats. Recovering from my hysterectomy for multiple, massive tumors in my uterus on Oct 5th. Really looking forward to being healthy again!
My favorite colors are jewel tones (like amethyst purple, emerald green, ruby red, sapphire blue, turquoise, and amber) or earth tones (like greens/browns together).
My favorite color combination is a deep teal blue and chocolate brown together. It makes me happy.
My favorite colors for
shirts/clothes
are browns, greens, purples, and both heather and charcoal greys.
I also love things that go along with my "PhoenixFire" theme like reds/oranges/yellows together
I like silver but not really gold. (Copper's ok too.)
My favorite animals are cats, owls, penguins, bats and red foxes.
My favorite flower is the Daffodil.
My favorite movie is Back to the Future
My favorite hobbies include: reading, photography and I love all things Disney!
ALLERGIES
I suffer from migraines so please NOTHING musk/amber/patchouli/dragon's blood or floral scented. Unless it smells like you can eat it, it will give me a migraine. I LOVE fruit and dessert scents greatly though. Also, please no bar soaps (skin is sensitive to glycerin) and nothing with artificial sweeteners like NutraSweet (aspartame) or Splenda (sucralose) as I'm allergic to both.
Crafty Wishes
= BIG WISH!
Sewing
--
A simple robe
. I really like
this kimono style
. Doesn't have to be exactly like that but I like the Japanese/Asian/Cherry Blossom influence, but it could be other colors/patterns that I like as well. Doesn't need to be form-fitting, can be a little roomy just not too oversized. (A little roomy is fine.) I'm generally a US size 4 and can send measurements!
--
Greek Goddess Halloween Costume
I love this so much. I've wanted one like this for a couple years. It would be awesome to have one sewn to fit me versus generic costume sizes. Would be happy to provide measurements.
I had to miss Halloween this year because of surgery but it's never too early to plan for next year!
--
Belle Halloween Costume
I would also love to dress up as Belle in her "Provincial Town" blue dress. This is a very simple outfit but hard to assemble from ready-made parts. Again, would send any measurements needed!
I had to miss Halloween this year because of surgery but it's never too early to plan for next year!
--
Comfy Lounge/Yoga Pants
I have a bunch of ones
here
that I've wisted. I need them soft and loose since I have healing abdominal incisions. I'm a size 4 US typically, but either stretchy or drawstring so they can be looser now but then fit later too would be awesome. I have short inseam (30") or 3/4 length are good too.
--
Kitchenaid Mixer Cover
Mine is the Classic (seen
here
) and I have a few examples of covers I like
here
. I could really use this!! Mine has no cover now at all!
--
Sewing Wist Surprise
There are tons of sewn things on my wists
here
as well!
Knitting & Crochet
--
Hand knit socks.
Something warm and soft I've got small feet so like a 6.5 size foot or girl's sized large socks for reference. There are some wisted
here
for inspiration. (And yes, thick ones for around the house are perfect too!)
NEW
--
Penny's Santa Hat
I'd love one for the upcoming season! Another pattern
here
too. I like them best when they have a little longer of a dangle. Not too long but not so short they stand up. I like a little flop. (Crochet would be fine too!
Pattern!
)
NEW
--
GORGOUS Knit Shrug
. I love cables. I'm sure this is massively huge, but I love it so much I'm putting it on the list anyway. LOL
--
Knit or Crochet Wist Item
- You can find
crochet items here
and
knit items here
.
Embellished Clothing (Dyed, Embroidered, Screenprinted, etc.)
--
Fitted Style Decorated/Screnprinted/Stenciled/Embroidered T-Shirts
. Short sleeve, 3/4 length or long sleeve. Fitted (not the "unisex" ones that are boxy) in V-neck, scoop or whatever (just nothing that's so low cut it requires another shirt underneath) in size small or US 4 equivalent. (I like the ones from Target a lot but am open to others too!) I have received a ton and I love them but I also live in fitted tees and more are always welcome. I have a bunch of styles I love
WISTED
for inspiration. Also, embroidery decorated shirts are cool too!!
--
Batik/Dyed/Ombre/ "Shibori-Dyed" Fitted Tee Shirts
Like above, short sleeve, 3/4 or long sleeve is fine so long as it's fitted. I like styles like
THESE
in my wists. I especially love the flame style one but really like this type of look a lot. It''s different from the shirts I typically wear and I like that. (Please just no hippie/Grateful Dead rainbow style tie dye. Nothing against hippies but it's just not my personal preference.)
--
Embroidered PhoenixFire Designs Logo Shirt
If anyone has a computerized embroidery machine where you can take a digital image and put it on a shirt, I would LOVE to get a ladies fitted polo or cute, fitted V-neck tee with my
PFD logo
. That would rock. (Maybe on navy or grey or something that would make the color pop.) Let me know if you need a different image!
--
Embroidered Shirt
I really like
this
idea. Doesn't have to be exact but I think that's a great place to start. Fitted shirt only please, size small if Misses or medium if Jr's cut. Jewel tones, browns, greys, etc. Maybe flowers, trees, branches, etc.? Front back, both - I just like this idea a lot.
NEW
--
Witch Ruby Slippers
. These are too cool. I wear a 6.5 and would prefer a shorter heel more like 2" or so but these are just totally awesome.
Glass, Ceramics, Pottery, Etc.
--
Ceramic/pottery tea mug, oversized mug, or cereal bowl
or anything like that. Again, a skill I don't have but really love. (
HERE
are a couple things I've wisted for inspiration.)
--
Ceramic/Pottery Spoon Rest
I have a few examples
here
but really anything earthy, or blues, or natural type glazes would be wonderful.
NEW
--
Apple Tree Fused Glass Nightlight
It's so cute!
--
Something Stained Glass
I love stained glass. A little window decoration, a nightlight, a decorative piece - I think stained glass is so pretty. I have some pieces wisted
here
for inspiration.
Hoopla, Embroidery, Needlework
NEW
--
Gil The Crab Art/Hoopla
We have a Honda Element. And there were these awesomely funny commercials featuring a crab named Gil who wanted to pinch. (Youtube:
I pinch!
) We laugh about them still. So maybe art, or a hoop or something with Gil saying, "I pinch!" with the Element next to it like the commercial. It would just be really funny. (Our Element is
this color
if you want to make it match.) You could just screenshot the Element with Gil standing next to it with him saying, "I pinch!" or something. That would be awesome!

THIS EXAMPLE
NEW
--
Bat Embroidery
like
this
. He's so cute! (And Halloween or not, I'd totally keep him around all year!)
--
Embroidery Surprise
I have a bunch of assorted items both stitched and embroidered
here
which can be used as an inspiration.
Other
--
Chibi Marty or Doc BttF Plush
. Probably bigger than a medium, but I want to list it anyway. Craftster member Noxika makes these awesome plush (like
this
and
this
) and I would LOVE LOVE LOVE one made of Marty McFly or Doc Brown from Back to the Future. Can't you just imagine how awesome a Marty with his orange "life vest" jacket or Doc with his wild hair in this style plush would be??
--
Anything with a phoenix.
I LOVE the phoenix and there's not nearly enough phoenix-related things in the world or my life. You can check out my
wisted phoenix items
as inspiration.
Recently added new Phoenix inspired items!
NEW
--
Adorable Owl Plush
just like
these
! OMG, I love how cute they are and how soft they look and the colors and how they're smiling...!
NEW
--
Bat Halloween Decorations
I love both the hanging bat and the bat garland
here
! Bats are a favorite and Halloween is the one time I can find bat items!
--
Daffodils
- Spring always makes me think of my favorite flower, the daffodil. They don't grow here in Florida so I've got some wisted
daffodil items here
to help usher in Spring.
--
Daffodil Spoon Ring
Yes, I already listed daffodils in general but I love
this
. I wear a size 6 on four fingers. I think this is just really cool.
--
Surprise me!
Look at my
wists
or my
amazon wishlist
,
my etsy favorites
, the colors I like, my favorite animals, or my favorite flower, etc. and see what you can make that you think I'd like!
Craft Supplies
--
WHITE or NUDE Jewelry Presentation Displays
I could use a necklace/earring combo and a bracelet hand. Used ones in good condition are fine too! Any kind of leather/leatherette/vinyl is awesome. These are examples of styles I like and could REALLY use. (These are examples. If you find something similar at another shop that's perfectly fine!)
- Fancier Necklace/Earrings:
Display, necklace/earring, frosted acrylic
- Another Fancier Necklace/Earrings:
Display, Venus figure, opaque white, 12 x 8-1/2 x 2-1/2 inches
--
Gemstone Beads
I'd love to use more faceted, briolette, rondelles and other cut stones. Here are some I really am coveting.
(Listings shown are just for example of the stone. Can easily be smaller quantities for more reasonable cost!)
-
Any gems on my Etsy favorites
- Bunches listed
here
(examples... just about any 3-5mm faceted rondelle gemstone like or Chrome Diopside rondelles or....Songea Sapphire (yellows/orange in color) or... etc, etc, etc!!)
--
Mini Cake Pans
. How cute are these? I don't know that I *need* them per se, but they're just so darn fun.
--
Lampwork beads.
Love. Wish I could make but I''m too scared of open flame.
--
Dichroic Glass Beads
I love
this mix
for example. So pretty!
--
Ninja Men Cookie Cutters
. OMG, how freakin' awesome are these???
--
Postcard Stamp
I think
this idea
is super fun!
--
Earring Findings
I could use some fancier sterling and/or gold (plate/vermeil) ones, especially chandelier style like
this
or
this
or
this
or
this
or
this
, etc.
--
Cricut
Sure it's a silly wish but maybe someone has one they don't use anymore? That'd be cool!
--
Button Maker
I think it'd be fun to make my own buttons. Some sort of starter kit would be great. I've never made any before. Can totally be used/pre-owned!
NEW
--
Metal stamps
A-Z letters and 0-9 numbers. I have a hammer and anvil but need the stamps! (I've even seen Micheal's carries letters and tag blanks!)
NEW
--
Metal stamping blanks
Once I get the stamps, I need pre-cut shape tags to stamp on!
NEW
--
Standing Torso Mannequin
like
this
so I could use it as a "model" when photographing my jewelry. I could REALLY use something like this!
NEW
--
14k Gold Fill Round Wire
I could use 16 or 18 gauge DEAD SOFT or 24 gauge or 26 gauge DEAD SOFT.
Example search
on etsy.
NEW
--
Inkless metal pen
(In silver) This is weird but cool!
Extras
--
Pineapple anything
so long as it does NOT have coconut in it. (Candy, snacks, candles, body spray, etc.) Finding pure, straight pineapple is so hard!
-- Beading/Wire-Wrapping/Jewelry magazines (esp ones with projects/tutorials)
-- Candies! (whatever neat little treats you enjoy, send 'em my way. I love candy)
-- Chocolate! (white, milk or dark) No coconut or coffee flavors please.
Thanks in advance to whomever picks me!

I'm claiming PFD right back for a Wisty but appropriate surprise
2nd claim / 0 sent / 0 received
Hi! I’m Stacey from Baltimore, Maryland. I’m joining this round because I have a month before Christmas chaos begins and no school work to consume me, lol. Most of my wishes are gifts for others. I have spent a few hours updating my pinterest so examples of most of my wishes can be found there (and so much more).
Anyway, we don’t love smoke or crazy amounts of pet hair but we have no real allergies here.
Wishes:
For my son ~ (His pinterest board is:
http://pinterest.com/smlounsbury/nicholas/
)
*Star Wars wall art – he already has a Rebel mirror and a Darth hoopla.
*A PSP case and/or games case. He’s getting a PSP for Christmas. Bonus points for Star Wars fabric.
*Reusable snack bags in super hero type fabric
*A scarf that a 9 year old boy would like. Can be knit or sewn.
*A knit hat. Would be cool if it were Star Wars themed

*Flannel pajamas. He’s size 8/10
For my 6 year old daughter ~ (Her pinterest board is:

*A mini blanket/quilt for an American Girl doll
For my 2 year old daughter ~ (Her pinterest board is:

*A size 2t or 3T knit sweater. I am crocheting her one, but knit ones are so nice.
*Doll clothes that would fit a Bitty Baby
*Name book (girly is good). Her name is Harper
*Girly Alphabet bean bags
*Cute mittens for winter travels.
*I would be forever indebted to anyone who could make teeny tiny fingerless owl fingerless gloves.
Jewelry ~
*I am in desperate need of a tree of life pendant in March, July and August colors for my mother in law for Christmas.
Thank you, PhoenixFireDesigns!!
*A necklace like this with an “A” on it
