Hello, here is what i have been working on the past week... my living room was due for a make over, since we hadn't done anything to it since we moved in.  I am very very happy with it.  The green is the same green as my kitchen...
C and C welcomed!

I wanted to add a pic of the curtains... I picked up 2 sets of these curtains second hand for really cheap.. in the beginning my original plan was for them to be in my bedroom, but i put a set up next to my kitchen green for my patio doors and loved it soo much i decided on painting my living room the same color.. These curtains started the whole make over! It's so funny how things work! Wink

This is the link to my kitchen make over..

This pic represents the color the best.

It looks great, and the arrangement on the mantle is so much more attractive. Smiley

The new color of the fireplace is gorgeous, what kind of paint did you use? I am planning to paint our fireplace just in time before the holiday season and I am planning to paint it white.

Wow, I have to say this is very inspirational as we are redoing our living room this year. I actually like your living room in both the before and after pictures.

I agree, both the before and after arrangements are good. With proper lighting the "before" arrangement could have been completely changed. But with the work you have done to it is looks really amazing. really good work indeed.

If you want to please your visitors, try to decorate your living room to make them feel comfortable being there.  The good news is, you dont have to buy all new furniture to give it a facelift. There are lots of inexpensive, easy ways to change up your living room. Adding a potted plant and using layered lighting for your room are just few of the ideas.
