I spent most of my day today working on this!



This is the door to the nursery I am presently working on.

To create this, first I measured the door. Then, I covered it in conTact paper (This tutorial taught me how:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=292952.msg3329977#msg3329977 ).
After that, I sketched out the giant Totoro in pencil, inked it with a sharpie, and went to town colouring it in with crayons!
Here it is before I coloured:



The hardest part was working above my head, and smoothing out all of the wrinkles. They kind of blended in.
Here's my hand, for perspective on it's hugeness:
