So Most breastfeeding/nursing shirts cost major $$$. Like 40.00 or more. Ridiculous! So I looked at them for ages on amazon and various websites to get an idea how they work. I came up with a plan to make my own.

TA-DA:
From the front feeding flap down

Closeup of the flap from the front

Pull up to nurse:

(nursing bras are so not cute either but that's something for another craft.)
I've bought some more shirts to make 2 more. I will have the best fall/summer nursing wardrobe ever in a very short time. Just need to find more shirts to use!

That is so well done. I wish I'd thought of this when my kids were babies.

Hee gee, trying to get my 20 month old and 3 week old to sync up naps has been difficult but I can probably do some night time sewing

I haven't gotten mine to sleep early enough for that yet! But were working on it. I'm trying to make another one of these shirts right now. Smiley

It looks really good! I wouldn't even guess it was a nursing shirt without you lifting it up!
