I got my package for August from my second swap angel!  I cannot say enough good about these people who would go out of their way like this to provide me with wonderful packages!  And this one is fantastic!

The picture does not do this package justice!

Start with the container:  All my goodies were packed in a box made from an LP sleeve with the actual record cut into a square lining the bottom!  Very retro, very nifty!

In the box were:
A postcard that is so awesome, the lettering looks fantastic, I have been looking for a good stamp letter set and the one she used (at least, I think it's stamped) is really cool.

fun japanese anpanman chocolates!

San-X chestnut stickers (I love the chi-chi girl chestnut) and San-X orange mini-notepad!  Awesome and so cute!

Two magnets I believe made from polyclay, one a horse and one a donkey.  Now, I don't know how much research my pal did but Ithink they'd have to dig pretty deep to find out actually had donkies and mules up until high school so I LOVE the donkey! So maybe it was a coincidence.   Anyway, they're perfect for work where my desk and shelves are metal so I need magnets!

In the box, you can't really see them but she(he?  I guess I'm being sexist) made me two pins that are fabric flowers, one with a spaceman and one with a cowgirl charm!  Fantastic.  Since you can't see them, here is me wearing the cowgirl pin!

And here is the kicker:  I got two mix CDs.  Now anyone who knows me for anything knows I am not big on zines or mix CDs (sorry, just not my thing).  But I believe I have turned a corner (on mix CDs at least, zines are still a little iffy if you ask me).  The songs are fantastic!  One CD is for crafting to and one is for weekend relaxing.  Some songs I knew, some were new to me and none of them were something I would NEVER listen to, they are all very doable.  But the work that went into the covers got me.  The hand stitched rickrack!  The cute pictures! The craft one is both inspiring and hilarious and the relaxing one made me melt and want to kick back.  Maybe I have just never met anyone with the mix-CD knack that you have.

I was blown away by everything, SC!  I could tell the thought and effort you put into everything, especially the CDs!  I can't wait to find out who you are!

And a note to my SC:  I will be posting pictures of my pets and such tonight or tomorrow.  Keep your eyes peeled.  Sorry to keep you waiting.

i got my august package!  she made a beautiful capelet, amazing beaded broach and sent me a bunch of bead packages!  i'm so glad that she made me a capelet, i've been meaning to make one lately but haven't found a good pattern.  her's fits perfectly!  and i can't say enough about the broach.  i'm swooning over it.  the beads are really beautiful as well.  my camera's been out of commission lately but i plan to get a new one or at least fix mine soon so that you guys can see how awesome her work is!
