Made for my niece's birthday, a painted spying spoon wand she can use to seek out faeries in her garden. Because she has a baby brother I didn't go too wild with the decoration. I don't want to send harmful gifts...my sister would frown on it Cheesy

We all know how elusive the faerie folk can be so in order not to disappoint her if they don't come out and show themselves, I (very quickly) whipped up some faeries that my sister can hide in the garden for her to find. I laminated them so they can be used again without getting too mucky. Lets hope she can spy the real ones though!

Inspired by the wonderful wands by the super talented knickertwist! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=253250.0

What a sweet gift. I'm sure your adorable niece will spend hours spying faerie folk Smiley.

I love the first photo too. Very cool!

What a cute idea!  Definitely a fun gift to bring out the imagination in the little girl!  You definitely have some to spare, I see!  ^_^

Thank you! I hope she likes it. I'd love to make other faeries, elves, sprites, hares etc to send to my sister to hide for her to find throughout the year. I think it'd be fun if they changed with the seasons.
