Thank you so much!  I'm trying to decide what my next "for me" craft project is going to be...  it might be whipping LOOOOOOOTS of GDs together.  I haven't decided yet.

recieved my package from that1girl yesterday!!! My first ever GD's (besides what I just made) My camera sucks big time. Well I couldn't find any batteries for mine and am using this camera/radio/mp3 player combo thing that is my 6 year olds lol. Colors aren't accurate at all either.

But thank you Dominique!!! The little monkey is adorable. And was already stolen by said 6 year old.

I finished my steering wheel cover using some of the GD's that Ffrogg526 sent me as well as some I had made up. Here's the best pic I could get of the cover in use:



I just attached the GD's together in a strip and added 2 rows of double crochet on each side. I'm pretty pleased with the results.

What fabulous bunches of GDs! I love the little monkey, too! How sweet! And, nisforneville, what a great idea to make a steering wheel cover. Now that it's feeling like winter, I could certainly use one!

And, I do have to say that I have an amazing bunch of swappers in this round! Not only have you all been outstanding with communication, but apparently, you have been very cooperative and organized, too!

When I got home on Thursday, after being without electricity or heat for 4 1/2 days, I grabbed the mail that had piled up and tossed it in a basket. After being gone, I had to check the house and do some cleaning up (spoiled fridge of food), so it wasn't until I got home on Friday and grabbed the new mail that I had a chance to go through the entire stack. Imagine my surprise when I came upon 2 envelopes of GDs!

nisforneville and allyourown each sent me a sweet little bundle of GDs! Totally unexpected by totally appreciated, especially after the week I'd had. Thank you so much!!

I think I might use the red variegated ones to make my steering wheel cover (I have some other ones to match from an earlier swap... from koalascout!). The pink ones will be added into my GD blanket, and the green variegated ones will go to a project to be named at a later date

The darker ones are a lovely deep plum color which will also find their way into my blanket. The speckled ones will probably join the green variegated ones (perhaps in a scarf).

And, I just made status updates in the first post of this thread. If something seems amiss, I blame the lack of Craftster access and access to the computer that had all of my swap info   But, seriusly, based on all of the PMs I have, I think I've got it all. But, let me know if I missed anything!

And, since I have some partners who have sent/received/posted pics, I can start leaving feedback!
