unsuperb- I imagine loose tea would be fine as long as it's packaged well.  You may want to check with your partner, too, just in case they prefer bagged tea.
You won't necessarily be able to send them internationally (this varies country to country). I've had the problem before - a teabag is generally considered a 'sealed package' so it gets through customs ok, but not so for loose leaf unless you send a whole, unopened packet.
Just a heads up Smiley

I got the job at Celestial Seasonings!!!!  They're going to call me tomorrow to let me know when I start.  I'm settling down with a cup of Celestial Seasonings peppermint tea right now.

Does anyone else like Professor Layton?  In "The Diabolical Box/Pandora's Box" you get a magic tea set to brew tea for people.  If you brew them the right tea you get nifty information or an extra puzzle.  Anyway, I thought Professor Layton themed tea stuff would be fun.

Is this swap for me or what?? I had to pass on some other swaps I was interested in since I was sick ((over my b-day week of all times)).

Also <3 peppermint tea. I miss the peppermint tea you could find in Trader Joes so much.

And I LOVE Professor Layton! I have a Prof Layton bag from another swap I was in before. =)

I LOVE professor layton!
Cool about the Celestial Seasonings job - when I lived in the region, I used to love going on tours there.

Yay! I heart tea.

A group of my college friends try to get together every month for a tea party at one of our houses.  It started innocently enough, but then when it was my turn to host, I went all out with a huge spread and fancy menus.  Now it's turned into an escalating war of tea fanciness  Cheesy

A tea party sounds like fun!

If you are on the fence about joining this swap: I have a swapper in Russia that would like to swap with someone within Europe if possible.  She is allergic to cats and dogs.  All of my other swappers in Europe either have a cat or a dog, so partnering her may be a challenge.  So... if you are in Europe and don't have a cat or dog and aren't sure if you want to join this swap, here's some insentive.

Hi!  I am interested in this one, but a bit confused...  The swap description starts out saying it is 3 points / a small swap, but then further on it says that the point system is:

3 points: large item or long crafting time
2 points: medium item or moderate crafting time
1 point: small item or short crafting time

I'm wondering if it is a "small" or a "large"  Huh  I think I can commit to a small right now but am hesitant to sign up for a large due to other commitments.
