This is such a great craft project for teaching kids to sew. I have made these with large groups of children and have always had success. First you trace and cut out two ghost shapes from felt then make holes around the edge of the ghosts punching through both layers at one time to be sure the holes line up correctly. Having the holes pre-made for the children helps them to learn how to space the stitches. Using yarn and an yarn needle, teach the kids how to whip stitch the edges together. Leave an opening for the kids to stuff and then stitch it closed. After adding a face and a bow you have an adorable ghost decoration!
