Just completed this sculpture last week in my foundry class! Started working on the project in January, so that's about five months from brainstorm sketch to finished piece!  Shocked

Anyway, it was supposed to be a commemorative sculpture. I used it to commemorate my surgery back in October - and the gallstones the hospital refused to give me.

Questions/Comments are welcome! Cheesy

I saw the pictures, then read what it was. It all makes sense now. I could tell it was something organic... I should have recognized it, though, since I have trouble with my gall bladder, too. (I need the surgery but am trying to hold off until I can get insurance.) It is pretty cool looking. It'd be gross if it wasn't bronze, I think.  Tongue

It's totally a double take kinda of piece! People seems to get squicked out at bit once they get it, you're not the only one. (That's my favorite part.)  Grin

Hope you get your insurance ASAP! Getting rid of my gallbladder was the best thing ever!

Posting the nice picture of it - without all the plaster and such.  Smiley
