A dear friend of mine got married a couple weeks ago.  He is the owner of an orange 1973 VW bus.  I decided he must have a matching tea towel.

I found a coloring page for the bus here, and then I just re-sized and printed on my laser printer to transfer to the tea towel.  For extra fun, I used shiny silver thread for the mirror and the bumpers.  It took me about 3 or 4 hours total to embroider this one.

Since one tea towel is never enough, I also did this barn yard animal towel, using a Clover pattern I already had.  This one was done primarily in backstitch.  I love it mostly because of the little piggies.

Love the towel with the VW bus, and love the animals because of the birds!!  Nice work - your stitches are lovely.   Cheesy
