I've made this one up for my son. I figure since this board is getting covered in ponies anyway, why not help it get covered a little faster? hahaha. She stands about 14" tall and is made of fleece for the body, yarn for the hair, and painted on details.

I messed up her back legs a little bit, but she still stands on her own, and Hayden (my son) couldnt care less. She's become part of his bedtime stuffie pile  Cheesy
Wondered what you guys thought though, so please let me know! ^.^

Rainbow Dash!! I love her! Do you root the yarn for her mane and tail? It looks awesome!

Im assuming you mean do i tie a little knot and thread the yarn through with a darning needle?
In that case yes, thats exactly how i do it. Takes forever and a day to get it all in, but using really fuzzy yarn and spreading the "hairs" out a tad helps with the time part.

Looks fantastic when ya get done with it though Cheesy

haha, you aren't joking. The yarn alone take 1/2 the project time! i've been trying to find better ways of doing it, but nothing gives roughly the same result so i've just kept on truckin  Grin

Also, i've reread myself here and noticed i was sorta rudish, more so than i wanted to sound, so sorry about that ^.^''

Cheesy thanks IsikkahJai and gotgrey!
im working on some right now that should turn out roughly like the fluttershy i made, but different characters of course, some more minor changes in the pattern. Thus far I've had to add little darts on the insides of the legs to keep them from splaying out and everything i've tried to fix that thus far hasn't worked out so well, haha. The darts seem to hold up well though, so I guess i'm trying to fix unbroken things ^.^''
