Here are some bracelets I made, pre-digital camera.  Again, most of my jewelry I either sell to people who commission me, or give as gifts - this is what I have around.

Green Bracelet with jade chips and green seed beads, three strands braided:

Purple glass bead and twisted wire bracelet, toggle clasp:

Purple and red glass bead memory wire bracelet:

Amber and Peach bracelet with triple strand, glass beads:

Amber, Orange, and Brown glass bead bracelet:

Blue stretch bracelet with plastic beads:

Any feedback always welcome!

Wow where did you get the pretty beads from?

Most of them are from either Michael's or Wal-Mart.  The blue plastic beads I picked up in a tourist shop on Vancouver Island.  Some of the beads (like for the triple strand peach and amber bracelet) I picked up at a local craft store.  I live in a small town and my options are very limited.  We don't even have a Michael's here - I take a 1 and 1/2 hour drive 2 or 3 times a year to go to Michaell's in a nearby city. My next trip is this weekend - I'm so excited!

Ooo! I love the memory wire bracelet! Very pretty color combination! I know what you mean about living in a small town with no options...but the nearest michaels is only 30 minutes from me...so it's good.

that sucks! I'm at the craft store like seriously at least twice a week, i can't imagine! Have you tried ordering beads online? www.firemountaingems.com and www.shipwreckbeads.com are awesome

I like the last one, the blue beads. I've seen those, and I've thought of using them. I'm finally getting over my bead snobbery, and returning to acrylic over glass and gemstones (not entirely, though. Give me a nice strand of tourmaline anyday!) Anyways, you have a very nice collection of different kinds of beads.

and I second Krazigal72's recommendations, though if you want cheaper gemstones, check out stoneagehardware.com. I order stuff all the time from all of these places. Look around and find the best prices.

I have considered ordering from those places, but I'm in Canada and wonder if paying the exchange and shipping would be worth it.
