This are accessories are for my Halloween costume this year. It was so much fun finding each piece and putting everything together. (I'll update my post with my finished Steampunk costume!)

I first found some metal paint, b/c it would cost way to much to get them made with metal and gear n'such already on it.

So, this paint (on the right) when it dries the color looks like a shiny penny. The other one (left side) was like a dull gold color.

UPDATE!!!

Here is me at the Mid Ohio Comic Con -Just as a Steampunk CosPlayer, my octopus pin is on my coat.

Here is me a Steampunk Vampire with Abraham Lincoln the Vampire Slayer (From the book)

Let me know what you think & Thanks for looking!  Grin

What a great and inexpensive way to get "metal" goggles!   Love your look Smiley

Ever since I was a child, I've always been obsessed with gears and clocks and basically anything mechanical that looked really cool. It's awesome to see a whole style based around it.

Steampunk rocks! I'm trying to figure out a way to integrate my metalsmithing abilities with steampunk elements.

Very cool--I'm trying to gather the courage to try some recon work rather than just admiring...of course, it would help if I had an event to wear stuff too...
