Something that always sticks out in my mind is that a lot of times our culture of mass marketing and superstores often skips from Halloween straight to Christmas and they sort of glaze over the rest of fall, but fall is my favorite season so I like to savor it. So whith this in mind and also experimenting with my new sparrow design I made these earrings:

I included these green and brown beads that reminded me of a nest.

They are also pretty big, because I really like earrings that make a statement.

I LOVE these!  your artwork and color is amazing, and I love you adding the lantern beads. These are really really beautiful. You do amazing work!

I'm a huge fan of sparrows...especially tattoo art. In the tattoo world , they are traditionally a symbol of both faithfulness and freedom, which many see as being a dichotomy of sorts, but there is no greater freedom than being  true to what and who you are.

(I love sparrows  and their lore so much that I have them over my heart. Here is a pic of my chest piece)

Oh those are beautifull tattoos! I love tattoo art as well, I really want to be a tattoo artist but it has been very difficult for me to get an apprenticeship around here. Becuase I live in a smaller town they are such a tight knit boys club that they are hesitant to even talk to me about an apprenticeship. So annoying. I'll keep trying though. Thanks for telling me about what sparrows are a symbol for in tattoo art. Now I know why I was drawn to them so much. I can really relate to the idea of being free because I am true to myself. Thanks for looking at my work too! It means a lot to me when people take the time to appreciate something I have made.

Did you do this with printable shrinky dinks? I'm super fascinated by shrinky dink jewelry. These are so gorgeous, the colors are just scrumptious.

The design of the sparrows is gorgeous. I think the little nest balls really add to the piece just perfectly.

These are just too cute, and I love the idea behind it! Everyone is so familiar with the sparrow tattoo, but to use the image like this is very innovative... and the nest balls! Love it.
