fiddlegirl8 - You flatter me!  I really enjoyed making the journal for you.  You had such a great questionnaire, I had no problem figuring out what I would do for you.  I saw that goldfish container and knew I had to get it for you!

That really is a great package, Bobomom! The little gnome on the cover is so cute, and I LOVE the pin cushion! And the carved stamps!

I got my beautiful package today from Karrie (aka whats_her_name).

Here is the beautiful journal cover she made (look at that cover!)

She also knit me a beautiful toque and it's soft as can be. Fits perfectly!

Thanks so much Karrie!

Yes - I like that hexagon quilted cover - pretty fall colors too. With a button closure!!!  Very nice!  And the hat/beret is beautiful.  Perfect for this cooler weather moving in!  It looks lovely with your hair color, kaybeeeee!   Smiley

I was looking around at some sewing internet sites tonight, and I have another way of doing a cover that I want to try - so I would love to have another round of this journal cover swap, Leslie and Susan!!!  You two are good for inspiring me to try new things - I love it.  Smiley

Fiddlegirl8 and I both received our packages today! I giggled when I opened hers!
First of all, the cute packaging! I love unwrapping gifts!

First I opened the journal cover! Look how cute the animals are!  There are little piggies and cows!  I love the expression on the cow's face!

Check out the cool ribbon on the spine! I love how she tied all the ribbons onto a strip of fabric and sewed that onto the cover!

Wooden heart button page marker - which will definitely be useful - I love that it's attached and I can't lose it!

Next I opened this incredible matching pencil holder! I suggested that that was something I needed, and fiddlegirl8 came through!  It's so cute and I love that it's made with upcycled denim as well!

And the extras!  Reeses candy - my favorite! And a State of Kansas Map!  So cool! My husband loves maps so we were checking out how big Kansas is!

Fiddlegirl8 - this was a really cute package! I love the animals - they are really adorable and their faces make me giggle! The sewing detail is amazing - you have incredible sewing skills!

Everything will be well used (and the candy will be eaten shortly!). Thanks for being a great swap partner!
