Halloween goodies (avoid this post if you cant stand spiders)

the perfect mug for Halloween







im really pleased with how this turned out (even my o/h was impressed )
this was painted with underglaze onto premade bisque. the web design was achieved by scraping though the green glaze to reveal the white bisque beneath.
the mug was then dipped in clear dipping glaze and fired.

the plate was actually one i made last year but for some reason forgot to post

I do hate spiders, and I so would not use these... and I mean that as a complete compliment.  Very realistic.  I can almost see the hairs on the legs.  Yecchhh.     Nice!

I really like these.  Very crisp details!  I think any fan of Halloween would be delighted to have these as a gift, great for holiday parties!
