earthenware is pretty new to me. Not sure about it, but it was our first ever firing of our kiln. We had quite a few air bubble which was ok on the ornaments, but Not good on the tableware.
These guys though came out quite well. The big one is a sugar bowl and the small one a reed incense.






Details: double pinch pots, earthenware decorated with White slip.

They look great for autumn. I love their shapes.I know little about pottery, but I'm sure the more you make the easier it will get to work with the new kiln. And you've got a lovely eye for structure.

There is just is something pleasing about a pear shape. I've just made a trinket box in a pear shape. It's still green, but this time it's stoneware.
