If it was small, like either a tiny thing or a one medium item swap, I would be willing to organize, since my husband would LOVE this, but I can't do anything big right now. If you wanted it to be a larger point swap I could do it around summer time, maybe late spring though.

Honestly, due to my crafting skill being on the.... low side (ima cook...lol)
It would probably be best for me for it to be a low point, small item(s) swap

I'd be willing to write up the questions at least...like I said, I would have no official control of anything but that doesn't stop me from wanting to help.

I'm fairly new to craftster (joined in the summer) and I've never done a swap before, but I've been looking for one to join and this is definitely one I'd be interested in if someone makes it happen.  Roll Eyes

This sounds exciting. I don't know if I'd actually join, but I'll definitely keep my eye out for this one!

We have an inital sign up period/send date! Let me know if these work for all of you!

One Tiny TMNT Thing
Sign up dates: 10/24/2011-11/7/2011 (Noon Central time)
Partners on: 11/7/2011 (by 8PM central time)
This is my busy season at work, so the eight hour time frame will be good for partnering since I will most likely do that there.
Send out by: 11/30/2011 (A little over three weeks)
Limited to: 20 people
I've never organized before, so keeping it limited to 10 even pairs will be easiest on me Smiley
Open to Internationals: Yes

Swap Details
The idea is to make one tiny craft item with a TMNT theme.  It should be physically small and should be something that you can craft with a high level of skill.  Even if it is a fairly simple/easy item for you to make, please embellish so that it best represents your skill.  (For example, if you wish to make a coin purse, you could embroider, add beading, or take other steps to make it a really special piece.)

-You will receive only one partner.
-You may only send that partner ONE tiny TMNT craft - "extras" are not allowed.
-All items must be 4"x4"x4" or smaller.

How do you know if your idea is "tiny?"  Examples:  A coin purse is tiny; a clutch purse is not.  A pair of earrings/pendant is tiny.  A trinket box is tiny; a pencil box is not.  If you're not sure if your idea qualifies as "tiny," ask your organizer!

I'm also going to include the new verison/movies as an option in the questioneer for those of you who might sign up for a child that doesn't know the classic show Smiley

Hmm, I may be able to do something like that... I can see myself making a mini TMNT amigurumi, but I can't really think of anything else off the top of my head!
