Henchman Number 24 from Venture Bros.

Here's the Henchman 24 doll I made. It's all hand sewn using craft felt. I pretty much eyeballed the pattern from pics I found on the internet. It was a gift for my brother who absolutely loves Venture Bros. I'm supposed to be working on Number 21 next so he has someone to hang out with.

Only my second time doing something like this so it probably looks a little rough close up but I think I'm getting better the more I try. Craftster has proved to be a great resource for tips and inspiration.

Other than having seen the name I know absolutely nothing about Venture Bros. -- and I still think this is fantastic!  Maybe because for some reason it reminds me visually of "The Tick" but I think mostly because it is so well crafted AND pretty darn cute (hopefully the character isn't supposed to be truly scary).

I love The Tick! Both the animated and the live-action series. Those would be cool toys to make.
