Nautical Accessories

Hey everyone!

I'm studying Textiles in school & thought I would share with you what I created for my final projects in April. Everything was drawn, silkscreened, & sewn by me.

Two out of the four tote bags I made. The navy blue one is made from organic linen (I ran out of material for the straps! I'll have to add those later) & the red one is unbleached cotton muslin. The lining is actually a navy cotton with a discharged pattern, but unfortunately I don't have a photo just now. The other two totes I made were in reverse colours.


Fabric brooches! I used polyester filling on the inside, & "found" fabrics for the backings with some bar pins.
