Oh no! Not a monkey herd!

So I recently did my very first swap!  I was a part of the Sock Monkey/Critter swap.  After reading my partners questionnaire (... and her profile, lol) I decided a standard monkey wasn't quite what I wanted to do.

And Jack Skellington was born!

Jack is made of two tube socks and is about 18" tall.  He's fully pose able since his body is fully wired.

I ran into a few snags along the way... like making him look skinny and ethereal.  Kinda tough with a sock but I think he came out rather well!

Hope everyone likes him as much I as liked making him Smiley

Happy, no, ecstatic recipient here!
He does rock. He rocks my socks! Well, guess they were your socks, weren't they! Now I just need to find a place to put them. That might require cleaning though, so he might have to sit on top of my fabric stash for a while first.

This is such a cool design instead of the normal Sock Monkey. I like that he is a critter more than a monkey. Well done.  Shocked Looking forward to see more of your Critters.
