I needed a hanging lamp and I have a small collection of doilies that I've been saving for a rainy day.  Fortunately I live in Seattle so rainy days are all around me Smiley

I posted the tutorial on my blog:  http://sundaydrivedesigns.com/blog/?p=242.  It's kinda picture heavy so I thought i would give the Craftster servers a break Smiley

Hope you like it!

Great idea. Pretty and unique. I'm especially attracted to the crochet fun potential (I'm a crocheter, among other hobbies). Does the light/shadow on the wall/ceiling look cool w/ how the pattern is, or is there not much effect?

Thanks for sharing this great idea.
