This is the next in my crochet dolls based on Dr. Who. I decided since my friends and I were all basically obsessed that each birthday this year will get a Dr. Who doll of their favorite doctor or character. I have made a David Tennant and River Song so far. Next up is this Tom Baker.

The pattern is PixellatedMushroom's David Tennant Big and Cuddly with a few minor adjustments (colors, non-chuck shoes, vest, etc) The scarf I winged based on a chart for the original doctor's scarf from drwhoscarf.com (This is an amusing site that is dedicated to documenting any and all changes in the doctor's scarf through Tom Baker's run as the doctor) and the hat I also winged. Not too happy with the hat, but I have another birthday fast approaching (And I missed having my boyfriend's done for his birthday, so I still owe him Eccleson...)
Anywho, (pun slightly intended) on to the pictures.

In progress shot:

Here is a size comparison between the doctor and his monstorous scarf. Makes me giggle seeing as it is only like 1/4 scale of the original:

And one more with his bag of sweets:

Would you like a Jellybaby?
