I would love the links to any pictures of necklaces you all make. It's fun to see everyone else's interpretations.

I made one for a swap partner who had it on her wist/pintrist. Then I made a couple for me. Then the gallery owner saw me wearing it, and I ended up making 9 bookstacks for her-see what you started? I'm hooked!
I experimented. Some book pages were cut from dried rose petals; perfect for an old book look. I only had a few of those. The rest were from a plain white note pad, light brown printer paper, cut up dried leaves-some I painted the paper edges gold to gild them. Broke down and bought a couple of cheap thrift store purses for thinner leather. Left some covers as they were, painted a few others, brushed a little sealer over them all.
I'm in the Wee House Craftalong, so I'll be making a few more of these. After Christmas! I posted there, too, couldn't resist.

Thanks again for the tutorial! These are fun-time consuming, but fun!

I just finished mine, but I think it's maybe a little too big?
I would love if you could take a picture of your necklace maybe with a quarter or penny or something so I get a feel for the size Smiley I did 1x1ish squares but I dunno...

Why is this one marked as mature?

I'm definitely going to pick up some leather to scrap next time thrift store trip.  This is so fantastic, I need to make one.

Why is this one marked as mature?

I guess because I'm new it wouldn't let me post an image and when I tried to take the mature tags out it said I wasn't allowed to put in a picture... Weird glitch thing I guess.
