Time Turner Necklace and Ravenclaw Bangle

For the latest HP swap, I made my partner two jewelry items.  First, I made this Time Turner decorative necklace.  She already had one based off the real Time Turner, but I wanted to make one that was a bit more discreet and more prudent to wear in an every day situation.  I'm also going to be making one for myself haha.  The pieces do spin, but not in different directions like the real one.

My partner's house was Ravenclaw, so I also made her a bracelet based off this tutorial.  I've actually used this technique tons of times since I found it last Christmas and I think the bracelets look really cool, though I prefer them for decoration than for actual wearing since they tend to bang around on the wrist a bit.

I love the necklace! I like how you can tell what it is if your a fan, but if you aren't... you wouldn't have a clue.

I LOVE that take on the time turner! It's absolutely gorgeous! I can't even tell you how much I love it. Words don't even begin to cover it.

I love the bracelet too (though I'm a Slytherin fan myself ^.^) but I think you're right. I can imagine it banging around on my wrist and the pain that could take place. It's soo pretty, though. I'd hate to NOT wear it lol.

These are my favorite kinds of things!  I am a huge Disney fan, so I try to wear as much Disney paraphernalia as possible without having anyone realize haha.  At my height I was wearing a gold Mickey watch that no one ever realized was Mickey despite the fact that it was a chain of Mickey heads as the band, a replica of Belle's necklace from the Broadway show, and children's flats that had a Mickey print that, again, no one ever seemed to notice and just thought was a cool pattern.

Now I'm trying to expand to the HP world.  I do love my scarves since they don't have any logos on them (even the one I got at Wizarding World!) and they're not Gryffindor, so no one ever picks up on them.

I wore my Time Turner to a party yesterday and it got recognized almost immediately.  So much for subtlety haha

The Time Turner necklace is stunning. It's a classy, elegant piece of jewellery if you don't know what it is, and if you do it's a classy, elegant piece of sheer brilliance! The bangle is really pretty too. I'd be tempted to put it on a cord and wear it as a crazy huge pendant if it was awkward to wear, but that's me!
