What size matchbox do you use?

I've been seeing a lot of matchbox projects and I really want to make one, but what size matchbox do you use? The normal small matchboxes or the longer boxes (I don't remember what those matches are called)? Thanks

I think for the most part we all use the standard, smaller size...1.5 x 2-ish.

I use all sizes, but I have more of the small ones. Depending on what you want to do with them will help you determine the size. You can also Google match box templates and find some interesting sizes to try

I think the smaller-sized ones mentioned here are called 32-counts, since that's how many matches they hold.

Are there special "matchboxes" for crafting? My son really wants to make a lunch box craft from a book that involves a matchbox, but that doesn't really seem food-safe :/

I just buy the normal matchboxes from the shops, but you could always line it with something to make it food safe
