My mom called me Monday and asked me if I could use Wednesday and Thursday to make her Renaissance Fair dress, she needs its by Friday.  Needless to say I thought she was nuts.  But she came over and helped watch my kids while I worked, so that was a huge help.  Adding both days up, it took me 9 hours to finish it.  I've never sat and sewed for long long straight.  My projects usually get broken up into several days just because I have to take care of my kids and all the distractions that come with them, LOL.

Anyway, enough rambling.  Here it is.  It was made using the Butterick 3906 pattern.  The bodice was made out of a heavy upholstery fabric, and lined with a simple cotton broadcloth.  The chemise was muslin, and I'm not really sure what the skirt's material was, that she'd purchased.

She looks lovely! I wish she'd come watch my kids so I could sew too. Wink
