I'm not sure what to give my sweetie! I want to make this year's Christmas package extra special, but I'm not sure what to make. I can paint, bake, knit, crochet, and sew. I've already made him coffee mug cozies, mittens, scarves, and cowls. He loves League of Legends, World of Warcraft, Domo Kun, and the colors orange and yellow. He lives in England, and we have been together over a year.

Thanks!
-Michelle

Domo plushie, a scoodie or sweatshirt (or even a hat with ear flaps) with insignia of one of his favorite things, uhhh. Paint him an LoL, WoW or Warcraft picture (of his favorite characters). You can even frame it, but that might be even more expensive to ship.  If you know how to etch glass you can also put logos on some glasses. I saw some pretty freaking awesome amazing ones on etsy (the ones I liked were the star trek ones. Oh I love me some Star Trek)

That's all I can think of right now. Hope this helps!

I think sending him some jar cakes would be really cute!  If you're interested here's a tutorial http://baking.about.com/od/giftideas/ss/canningjarcakes.htm.  If he's into WoW you could also make him a big hearthstone pillow.  Maybe you could even make him a fleece blanket and fabric paint something he likes in one corner?  I hope this helps, but if it doesn't, the generic boyfriend gift thread here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=47986.0 has some great ideas if you have the time to scan through it.  Smiley

One year for my gifts I made fleece blankets, but I downloaded images of the favorite topic of each person (star wars image, WoW, etc,) then I got the transfer fabric from a craft store, and imprinted the image onto a patch or several patches, and then ironed them onto the fleece.  I also machine zigzagged  around the edges because iron-on things sometimes ravel or come up on the edges.  For loved ones that weren't "in to" anything, I chose a family photo that would bring them pleasant memories.........anyway, it was fun, not very expensive, and much appreciated.

My boyfriend and I are long-distance too (laaaammmee...). Anyway, I have the stereotypical ice-cold girl feet that I always rub against his when we're together.  It sounds cheesy, but I made us each a pair of socks using the same yarn so that it's sort of like he's still helping out with his furnace skills. Through yarn...I don't really know.
