Service/Workshop manual?

is it possible to obtain a service or workshop manual for a Brother Super Galaxie 2000? I've tried Brother and other sites but nobody seems to have one.

Basically, I'm married to a mechanically minded engineer, and I have a machine with a broken autocut feature and no money for servicing!

Is that Brother model similar to any Babylock models? If so, Babylock has a good selection of service manuals available.

it's not similar, but I managed to find a company who were selling a service manual. ordered, waited and the instant download didn't appear so checked out reviews of the company while trying to compose a calm yet annoyed email... turns out they regularly don't follow through and send out, so I contacted paypal for my money back by starting a dispute and lo and behold, an hour later I had the manual!!
cancelled the dispute, and husbad has just fixed my machine for £13 when we had been looking at repairs being £70 for fault finding and more for parts and labour! it only took him 1/2 an hour too!!
