Sex, Crafts and Silmarils… (Best of 2014 Winner!)

So I had a length of red satin ribbon, a bunch of red seed beads (I had several types of them), and a free afternoon. This is what came out of it. I sewed beads onto the ribbon until it was almost fully covered, made some dangly parts for the "blood drips", attached a hook-and-eye type of clasp to close it, and Tadaah! A slit throat choker for Halloween (or daily wear, it's subtle enough).

Very clever. It definitely gives the illusion of a slit throat.

Totally rad. Beautiful and elegant, indeed, but it speaks so much.

Fantastic! This would work wonderfully for an Abaddon (from Supernatual) cosplay too ^___^
