My daughter wanted to be Rapunzel from Tangled for Halloween, and at the store one day, we saw the Simplicity 2065 pattern.  Here's the fruit of my 3 weeks of labor.  Wink  She was super excited.  The only issue I had with the pattern was, its a little low cut for a 3 year old, so she'll be wearing a shirt underneath.  Oh, and I kinda hate working with organdy.  HAHA

You are such a great Mom!  Her hair looks perfect for Rapunzel.  And where I live, the kids always have to wear a shirt underneath just to stay warm.

I have boxes of vintage piano music.  Some as old as 1890's!  PM me if you'd like some!

Beautiful dress and model!  My daughter (2 1/2 yo) was sitting with me and she told me, "Mom, I need that one to be Rapunzel.  Buy that dress for me.  And that hair."  I kid you not.  I was planning to go buy a pattern tomorrow, so I thank you for finding that one for me!

What an adorable costume!! And the others are right about her having the lovely hair to go with it.

The little flower and lace details along the edges really make the dress something special. I would feel seriously pretty in that dress. lol

Thank you!   Grin  I made the dress in the smallest size on the package, and its pretty roomy on her.  She'll definitely be able to wear for a long time.  I decided to skip the lining.  The satin I used was pretty heavy/sturdy and also, I got tired of working on it at that point.

Also, the flowered ribbon trim was SO hard to find.  I actually hunted for several days online to find it, because my daughter wanted it to be the same as the picture on the pattern.  In case you want to get the same kind, I ordered it from craft*ladies on Ebay.  Here is the link to their shop. http://stores.ebay.com/craftytrims
