Every year my boyfriend and I go to a potluck halloween party and I like to bring something that correlates with our costume.

One year we were GreeK gods, so we brought grapes. Year before that we were Homer and Marge, so we brought donuts and canned beer. This year, we are going to be gnomes.

Stuffed mushrooms are the obvious thing I can think of, but the bf HATES mushrooms. Any suggestions for something else?

Fish perhaps, if fishing rods are a part of your gnome costumes?

Cupcakes are really easy to decorate to look like mushrooms, especially if you're going for the classic bright red and blue gnome like mushrooms.

I kissed a seal and I liked it.

Meringue mushrooms popped into my head as soon as you said gnome food, but if you aren't feeling that labor intensive how about a nice vegetable tray from the garden they guard.
