Hope it's not too late... duct tape Halloween charm bracelet

I made these cute little skull charms by printing a cute clip art off google, then tracing them onto a cut-up milk carton.  I put duct tape over both sides of the milk carton, then drew the faces on with Sharpie.  I poked holes in the top for the jump rings, and realized as I was handling the charms that I was rubbing the Sharpie off!  So I fixed the rubbed - off spots and then put packing tape over the charms to protect the marker.  Then I put them on black jump rings and affixed them to a black chain - very Halloween-y!

very cute. ithought these were shrinky dinks when i saw the thumbnail.  love the flower accent, ithink it adds alot.

I really like the texture that the duct tape gives them.  And the flowers are super cute.

I agree with your fans here - those are cute. A great way to accessorize a costume! Or in the days leading up Hallowe'en when it is not possible to wear a costume.

But I am confused by what you said (although it may just be the time - I've just been woken up by an unexpected phone call after very little sleep).

Would that be transparent packing tape?
(My confusion stems from thinking that packing tape is a solid colour, probably brown - like masking tape.)

yes,  I meant transparent packing tape    It's been so long since I've even seen brown packing tape anywhere that it didn't even occur to me to clarify!  haha!  Sorry 'bout the confusion!    I think I may be forced to create some matching earrings, as well!

I too thought they were shrinky dinks. Finding out they were duct tape made them extra cool
