When one of my best friends was moving I couldn't afford to do much for her. So my main housewarming present was helping her paint and generally get the place ready to live in. But I decided to make her a couple tiny things as well.
First I appliqued these skulls onto two inexpensive soft dishtowels:
I wish I had some interfacing so they would have been smoother but what can ya do?
Then I decorated this switchplate cover:
Just so you don't think my colour choices are too off-the-wall here is a pic one of her rooms after it was painted:D This photo shows both the accent wall colours (the non-accent walls are bright white).
The far wall is really lime green it only looks yellowish in the pic because the camera didn't like the lighting.
