Here is the fabulous loot sent to me by jenellebelle. She got the perfect combination of Gorey and whimsey, and understood I like pink glittery things as well as dark themes, I got a ton of stuff in an antique Ball Jar. It now has all of my very best buttons in it. She also sent me buttons, and I can't count the number of times my husband rolled his eyes every time I  said "ooo, there's a good one!". She made me an excellent Gorey tote, with a scene from the Neglected Murderesses story. And a sweet purple octopus pin, that the boycat was shrieked at for trying to claim. I love every single thing she sent, and I have all sorts of things already brewing(including great stuff for my seemingly never finished carnival themed project). And the bird tissue paper!!! Love it, I think I will frame some of it. Thanks jenelle!!!

I recieved a wonderful whimsy bag from Carole today. Here are the pictures....first up my whimsy 'jar', since we were sending overseas, we opted to go with a lighter and less breakable jar! and her choice is amazingly excictued!

Here is a group shot and a couple of closer shots.

4 cute granny squares, a set of blue inchies (well there are achtally inch-and-a-halveies, but who's counting) by carole and some more by her kids, little denim patches, there was candy, but my girls devoured that quickly, buttons, corks (which is actually quite handy since I don't drink wine!), stamps, mini pegs, buttons, stickers, red ducks, beads, charms, scrap book papers and cutouts and LOADS more.

Thank you Carole, I love it.

Yay!!!!!   You're welcome!  So glad it got there today and you didn't have to wait any longer!  I think I didn't mention, the yarny bracelets are from my handspun left over singles.   And this statement made me LOL for real! :
