So, this is my first post! I'm a long time admirer of craftster, but this is my first post.

So, my friend decided to do a Chocobo themed nursery. Since that's not a commercially available theme, I had to do something crafty! So, that means a quilt!

Again, since a normal pattern wasn't possible, I pulled a pixelated image from FF IV. It turned out to be almost 1000 1in x 1in squares and was done while I was unemployed, because really, when else could I do this?!?

Complete.

In place, in the room!

The squares!

In progress.

Just the top.

WOW I am impressed!  I can't imagine how much work it was to sew all those little squares together >.< (I've never made a quilt.)

Great job. When it comes to video games, you have to get kids trained early.Cheesy And I must say, if you're unemployed, what better way to spend your imposed free time than making a baby quilt?

*squees* Awesome! We wanted to do this for our little boy, but, due to....circumstances, that's out of the cards. Beautiful work, and such an awesome subject.

Love it!  DH and I used to play Final Fantasy all the time.  You're much more dedicated than I am - I probably would have just used strips wherever I could.  Roll Eyes

You have far more patience than I do to have done all those squares individually! Looks great.
