I made another octopus based off of my last one. Cephalopods are just too cute! The first one ended up looking like he was plotting something, and I wanted this one to look less malignant. So, I changed the eyes a bit. My DH and I are expecting our first baby this Spring, and this toy was made for him/her... didn't want the munchkin to be afraid of their toys.  Wink

The yarn was dyed with Wilton's, in blue and brown. I used a lot of vinegar to get the colors to split to give little hints of purple here and there. The eyes are needle-felted on, making the whole thing really cuddly. Once again, I didn't take the time to write down a pattern as I went...I'm too lazy.  Wink

Thanks for looking!

Loved the last one and I love this one too. He looks pretty laid-back. Congrats on the baby...I'm sure he/she will love cuddling with this guy!

Love it!

Congrats on the baby, it's sooo much fun making things for the baby while you wait for their arrival Smiley
