For my partners in the Back to Hogwarts 2 swap, I crocheted some Gryffindor Pride items.  The yarn I for both projects was Hobby Lobby's I Love This Yarn! in cranberry and sungold.

Gryffindor House House Slippers

The pattern is Bobble-Edge Slipper from Vanna's Favorite Crochet Gifts.  It's a fun pattern with fab results!

Gryffindor Granny Strip Ghan

A fab, free pattern, which I will definitely do again!

How could anyone compete with a snitch baby?

You know, I have Ravenclaw colors here....if you want a cozy pair of house slippers, just PM me your shoe size and current address. Cool

SOOOOO freakin' cute!  I should learn to make the afghan to go with the slippers that Knickertwist made me.  Cheesy

Oh, and just FYI, your giant 1st Year Gryffindor Scarf is getting a workout this weekend.  The Kentucky Thespian Festival is HP themed this year.  I was going to be a Gryffindor student, but decided it would be more fun to "lecture" as Prof. Mcgonagall instead, so I'm lending your scarf to on of my students.  (With strict instructions to take excellent care of it!!!)

I love these so much that I have just ordered a copy of the book so I can make a pair of my own. They are the nicest shaped crochet slippers I have seen.
