This afternoon, I whipped up this dress in a couple hours. The sash took the longest and I don't even love how it turned out.
Inspired by this tutorial
http://asmallsnippet.blogspot.com/2011/09/wanna-make-dress.html
I chose a cap sleeve shirt instead of a tank top and I'm thinking of making one with long sleeves as well.

On the Hanger:

With the Sash I made (and don't love Embarrassed)

Next Up, I have a white tank top and turquoise and brown ikat fabric. The shirts in my closet better look out!

Nice autumn colours and a good result, but I think you are better off with the belt rather than the sash too.

That's really cool! *eyes t-shirts in closet*

I prefer belt to sash too. Maybe if the sash was a complementary color and not the print?
