I was out thrifting a few weeks ago and came upon a still sealed latch hook rug kit for this super cool rocket!  I decided that my little boy needed this in his room, so I snatched it up and became a hooking maniac for a few weeks.

Here's the finished rug measuring 18x24 inches.  What do you think?  I feel like a cheater because I used a kit, but it's such a cute design.

I do most things from kits, don't feel bad at ll. I've always wanted to do some latch hooking, but I have a lot of other things in line before I pick up that skill. This looks great!

Update!  I stitched some of that non-slip shelf liner to the bottom of it and move this rug into the bathroom so he has a cool bathmat!  Now on to painting the bathroom...once DH is finished scrubbing and spackling, we'll paint it a bright happy color and then DH wants me to do some custom painting on the wall.
