This was actually the first project I ever did after discovering Craftster. I had had these chairs for years and it never occured to me to change them so, as always, thank you Craftster. This was years ago but it just occured to me to post it up here Smiley

Chairs from Grandma:



I simply went home, took the screws out and started pulling them apart. I left the orange vinyl on the seat but had to take it off the back or it wouldnt fit back together. This also gave me a ready made pattern on how to cut out the fabric for the back. Simply use a staple gun and voila!

Lovely job.  That is such an improvement on the original.  I love the paisley back with the blue seat.

I've always wanted to take an ugly chair & redo it but I don't have any chairs like that. I'll have to be on the lookout for one.
